Sewing - Get to know your machine
In this 3 hour session, we'll run through how to set up and use your sewing machine. We'll be using the Janome 2200XT and Brother LX25. If you have your own machine that you want to use, feel free to bring it.

Sewing - Understanding Overlockers
In this session, well run through how to set up and use an overlocker. Also known as a 4 thread or 5 thread, this is an essential machine when working with fine fabrics, fabrics that fray and upholstery.

Sewing - Getting the best finish
In this session, we'll touch on overlocking basics, understand the differences with the heavier duty Janome HD2200 and Singer Heavy Duty 4423, and go hands on with a blind hemming machine.

Open Session - Morning
This open session gives you access to our workroom to work on your own projects. You bring your fabrics, threads and haberdashery, we'll provide the scissors, pins, iron, and the Janome 2200XT showing machine. Morning sessions are from 10am to 1pm. No set start time, just arrive when you want.
Open Session - Morning (Guided)
This open session gives you access to our workroom to work on your own projects. One of our resident sewing gurus will be on hand to answer any questions you have or help you work through any challenges you might be facing - whether that's setting up the machine, laying out the fabric, or just talking you through how to stop puckering. You bring your fabrics, threads and haberdashery, we'll provide the scissors, pins, iron, and the Janome 2200XT sewing machine. Morning sessions are from 10am to 1pm. No set start time, just arrive when you want.
